How do you become a CFR?
You do not need any previous medical knowledge to become a CFR. If you are committed, able to give up some of your spare time and want to do something amazing – contact us at the details below. EMAS require you to have a full UK clean driving licence, Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) clearance check and be 18+.
I want to help, but I haven't got any money or time to volunteer, what else can I do?
CFR groups are always grateful for whatever support they receive. Although they rely solely on donations to keep active it doesn’t take much to help. Raising public awareness about CFRs is equally as vital. Follow Newark and District Community First Responders on social media and get involved in their next community event.
